Every Dog

Every dog has its day;
Peoples get chance to play punk, predator or prey.
Every dog has its day.

Mesopotamia, Egypt, Indus Valley, Mesoamerica,
Maya, Aztecs, Andes, Inca, Pacific.

Sun’s revolution,
symbolic of power rotation,
Myriad sessions of musical chairs,
you’ll get your turn in the hot seat,
The Most Just, Bestower controls the beat.

What will you do when the Sun shines on you?
Remembered in History books with merciless hindsight,
Make policy and live life with Sino foresight,
be wise, spent time, in the limelight.
What goes up, began from the ground.

Every dog has its day;
Peoples get chance to play hero, hater or hell raiser,
Every dog has its day.

Eurasian, Indo-Europeans, Hittites, Kassites, Assyrians,
Mycenaean, Shang, Mauryan, Levant, Achaemenid,
Sparta, Macedonian, Han, Phonecians.

Relish in glory,
Artistic license for lofty story,
Sword is in your upper hand,
A just Sovereignty or corrupt Monarchy rules the land?
Majesty belongs only to One.

Affluence usurped,
Revolutionary instinct unperturbed,
Rapid rise in slothful mind decline,
Electricity powered egocentricity,
Bread and circus maybe?

Every dog has its day;
Peoples get chance to play lame, liar or lover,
Every dog has its day.

Umayyad, Tang, Turks, Tibetan, Japan,
Abbasid, Franks, Fatimids, Byzantine, Sung.

Civilisation to Syphilisation,
Populous viral infections,
disease and Dresdens,
War of the Weather, Tsunami Armies,
Make way for baton inheritance.

Foretold in similes of old,
‘Ad, Thalmud,
Bani Israel, Babylon.
New World Order,
but not according to your order.

Every dog has its day;
Peoples get chance to play saint, sinner or servant,
Every dog has its day.

Ottoman, Safavid, Uzbek, Mughal, European Renaissance,
Soviet Union, USA, Japan, India, China.

Every.

And how many communities have We ruined as they were being unjust. So they tumbled down to their foundations, and how many wells lie abandoned where castles still stand! Quran 22:45
